GOATHURST
William appears to be the brother of John (also b. Cross) who was married to Lydia and living in Bridgwater in 1841 and 1851 census. Interestingly enough they had a son Melbourne b. abt 1847.
Cross (William's birthplace) is a small village half way between Axbridge and Compton Regis. It is not a parish.
